La Reine

Jezzebel!
Queen, beauty, traitor
Symbol of evil
Down through the ages
Her name became synonym
For deceit and treachery

Jezzebel!
Brazen, voluptuous
Wanton, lascivious
Could any man
Resist her wild beauty
Her lush body?

Lust, murder, lies
All these she employed
To feed insatiable greed
Burning ambition

She was loyal to no man,
Would betray any land
Believed in no God

And so the Lord
Through the Prophet Elijah cried
The dogs shall eat

Jezzebel
Tussen water en water
By the walls of Jericho!
